Copper  Academy is a local family-owned and operated private preschool. Located in the highly desirable, and quickly growing Copper River Ranch in Fresno, Ca. Our gorgeous school sits right above the Copper River Country Club fairway! We strive for excellence, and believe the children come first! We believe we can successfully cater to each child’s unique personality with our high-quality concept of a small, personable school of only 16 students! Copper Academy Private Preschool is a warm, nurturing, and fun atmosphere where children of Fresno, Clovis, and Friant can develop a lifetime love for learning. 

Copper Academy Private Preschool believes a child’s physical and emotional safety/security is of paramount importance. Our overall capacity allows for a small child/teacher ratio, with that we are able to give quality-individualized attention to the needs and strengths of each child. Curriculum 

At Copper Academy we offer enrichment programs specifically with your 2-5 year old in mind. We offer preschool, and pre-kindergarten! Our early childhood education curriculum is filled with hands on experiences- gardening, music, art, math, pre-reading, literacy, social studies, and much more. Our well-rounded curriculum exceeds state standards. Our curriculum includes a balance between superior excellence in academics and extraordinary play--a recipe for FUN. We incorporate theme based learning to ensure our ABC’s, 123’s, colors, and more of our foundational skills. We believe that a child’s preschool years are among the most important years for literacy and development. The curriculum is built around a vast variety of activities designed to enhance vocabulary, awareness of patterns and sounds in language, letter recognition, social intelligence, knowledge of printed materials, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, outdoor play, and exploration of art and science. All of these components, when combined-address the whole child. This learning experience allows your child to attain higher academic achievement for years to come, and encourage social and emotional growth, which results in children who are confident learners and have higher self-esteem in formal elementary school, and beyond.
